Windows 8 and Internet Explorer

There is a known issue with Scorch on Windows 8 and above when using Internet Explorer. When viewing sheet music, accessing your account, or closing Internet Explorer, you may see the following error message pop up:

Error dialog: Memory Corruption in Windows Process heaps

This is a known problem in the latest Internet Explorer version of the Scorch plug-in, but it does not affect playback or printing of sheet music in any way. If you see the above error message, simply click "OK", or click the Close ("X") button in the corner of the error message, to dismiss it.

This problem is known to affect Windows 8 and Internet Explorer users; it has not been observed on other Web browsers or other operating systems. If you are experiencing this error and it is affecting your ability to use our website or other sites, please consider visiting Sheet Music Direct in a different Web browser.
